Party Planning Guide

Hello Party People, The Holiday’s are finally upon us; so that means cocktails, leftover turkey sandwiches, smash potatoes and plenty of parties to attend! I recently celebrated my 27th birthday and let me just say, planning my party was an experience I’ll never forget. If you’re not prepared, planning your party can be a very stressful thing to do. I want to make things very easy for you guys, so I’ll share some great tips on how to throw the “perfect party” with minimal stress! Party Planning Checklist: Three Weeks Before 1.Make a guest list 2.Send invitations 3.Decide on a theme and venue Side Note: I planned my party a month prior. I figured many people have plans for Halloween in advance, so I’m happy I did it sooner rather than later! Two Weeks Before 1.Come up with a good playlist (side note) I made my playlist the day off, don’t do this; plan ahead and avoid the stress. Hey, the “Thong Song” was a hit! 2.Make a list of grocery items for the party …

Make a Change

I often thought to make a difference in the world, you either needed to be Kim Kardashian or a famous Politician. Let’s face it; I’m neither, but as an influencer/blogger, I want to start raising awareness on topics such as cancer, mental illness, world hunger, bullying, etc. These are all issues that are affecting people around the world and even the people we love. We often shy away from weighty issues like these, because it’s hard to face reality. We need to realize the more we look the other way; the more people continue to suffer. I received a phone call this morning from my sister, and something she said resonated. You don’t have to be “famous” to make a difference in the world. People just need to get out there and starting helping others. According to the American Cancer Society, “In 2016, there will be an estimated 1,685,210 new cancer cases diagnosed and 595,690 cancer deaths in the US.” Many people have been affected by cancer in some way shape or form. Elyptol

Hello My Beauties, With the flu season around the corner, it’s crucial to keep those hands free & clear of bacteria. I work with people all the time, and germs can be easily transferred through handshakes and dirty surfaces. Let me just say, I get sick often, especially during the fall & winter time; so, it’s critical for me, to keep my hand’s germ-free. I’ve recently started using #Elyptol’s hand sanitizer and it’s one of the best antimicrobial hand gels I’ve tried so far. I’m a strong believer in natural chemicals, that are safe to use, especially for people that have kids. Elyptol just recently won the NEXTY Award for best Natural Living Product! Congrats 😉   I love the packaging it comes with because it already has a built-in key clip. Easily portable and I know I won’t lose it (haha).  Unlike, the other hand gels, this one has a light natural scent to it and the texture is dense. Elyptol also offers a “spray” hand sanitizer, which I love. I take my hand sanitizer spray …

Blogging- Never in a million years did I think, I would start blogging. It seemed like an excellent idea on paper, but it wasn’t until I started doing it that I fell in love. 3. Reading- I still don’t read a lot of books! BUT, I am making an effort to pick up some books that catch my attention. SOMEONE HELP LOL… List books down below (lol) 4.I love music- Although; my dream isn’t to pursue a singing career anymore, I still enjoy singing my lungs out all the time. Don’t believe me? Ask around 5 .Airplanes- I still HATE flying! I’ve never had a “bad” experience, but …

Five things you probably didn’t know about me!

The digital world makes it harder for people to get to know you better. That’s why today, I wanted to share five things you probably didn’t know about me. 1.I’m a singer! – Yes, ever since I was ten years old, I would sing my lungs out to Celine Dion and had high hopes of pursuing it as a career. Now, I’m blogging, and I couldn’t be happier…….but, if Usher or The Bieb’s asked to sign me as an artist, I’d be down. 😉 2.I’m CPR Certified – I’ve recently got my CPR Certifiation, and it’s probably the best thing I’ve done this year. My boyfriend Matthew was an EMT before, and he talked about the importance of knowing how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation. It is a valuable skill to know in case you ever do need to help someone. People, you are safe with me 😉 3.I love History- Something I’ve always been fascinated about was learning everything about the world before us. Anything from Alexander the Great, Columbus, Julius Caesar and Albert Einstein, …
